OFS: 1902 Brandfort to Broad Bottom Camp, St Helena: Prisoner of War letter franked VRI 1d tied cds NO 20. Front shows OPENED UNDER MARTIAL LAW seal well placed horizontally across top of cover and although Stroud records "Again no censor marks or cachets specifically relating to this camp seem to exist" there is in violet, a superb full strike of the BRANDFORT CENSOR OVAL which mark is now included in the Peter prime listing (2012) as type BNRF6. Backstamped with transit cds. Couple imperfections, F-VF, attractive cover.
