OFS: 1901 Cover from LADYBRAND addressed to "Broot Broottom Camp, St Heeliena" franked VRI ovpt 1d clearly tied by the despatch cds DE 24 and the UNRECORDED censor oval of Ladybrand in violet. Front shows the dated censor seal, the NPR censor mark in black and in red the fancy PRISONER OF WAR handstamp. This handstamp was used in Ladybrand from December 1901 but otherwise Stroud confirms "no philatelic material for this Post Office". F-VF.
