  • salvaged from the crash of the SAA Boeing 707 "Pretoria" near Windhoek's J G Strijdom Airport on April 20th 1968.
  • Charred condition typical of this recovered mail. which was badly burned.
  • With official Post Office notelet concerning the crash as well as "ambulance" envelope in which the undeliverable subject letter was returned to sender.
