SA: 1934 ROYAL TOUR cover to GREECE. Registered envelope (being Union parliamentary stationery with crested backflap) franked Full Set 1925 Airs superbly tied by three strikes13 II 34 of the commemorative oval cachet used on the Royal Train during the tour of H.R.H. Prince George (later King George VI). Royal Tour registration mark struck in violet, also Greek airmail cachet. On reverse an additional special cachet mark, despatch cds of Cape Town 13 FEB and arrival cds 21 II. Accompanied by its Certificate of Posting #7224 also struck with the Royal Tour special oval canceller. Superb, scarce memorabilia from this 1934 event for which far less "content" exists.Envelope created by legendary aerophilatelist LA Wyndham.
