On southbound February flight no mail was carried; on this northbound flight Rose carried only 16 letters for personal friends; these were posted on arrival as per London 9 March cds; few survive. Superb, rare. The route itinerary was: from Cape Town to Salisbury on March 3rd, Salisbury to Kisumu March 4th, Kisumu to Juba March 5th, Juba to Cairo March 6th, Cairo to Benghazi March 7th, Benghazi to Cannes March 8th and Cannes to Croydon on March 9th.
