A rare campaign cover written WITHIN THE PERIOD OF THE WAR which ended with the battle of Ulundi on 4th July 1879. VF, a superior letter from the Cramer correspondence. Ex Trotter. Captain Cramer served with the 60th Rifles for the duration of the war. His distinguished service record included being present at the Battle of Gingindhlovu.
