1894-96 QV 2½d dull mauve & ultramarine (SG 22). Superb UM example overprinted SPECIMEN with VARIETY BROKEN "M" IN SPECIMEN (occurred in position 41 of the setting of 60). Fresh colour. Less than a dozen such were ever possible, few survive. Rare. See additional image below.
