1926 £1 pale olive-green & red, Setting VIa, 9½mm between, "South West" 16½mm long (SG 40a/CC 63a). F-VF/UM pair HANDSTAMPED SPECIMEN (Type SA5) in violet as from the 1928 UPU distribution. Even brown gum as always found on these pale olive-green £1's (single sheet). (3½ sheets of mixed stock £1's were taken for provision of these Specimens, 2/2½ sheets in normal colour, balance 1/1½ sheets in pale colour). A rare high value Specimen.
