Partial Johannesburg Censor handstamp and at front centre a good strike of the scarce dated PASSED BY CENSOR / BOKSBURG double border oval in violet 10 APR 1902. The writer prepared the envelope in military form "Sapper Harrison RE / Mily Tel's / Boksburg / T'vaal" (Military Telegraphs). Prime (type BOK 2 ) and Rossouw/Pirie record this Censor mark and its use over a period of less than FIVE MONTHS. VF, scarce mark.
