Bears a superb strike of the scarce cachet "GEZIEN / POSTCENSOR / PRETORIA / ZAR" in violet which was in use between the 16th March to 5th June 1900 at Daspoort POW Camp (Pretoria). Endorsed at top left as being from "??? Capt, Prisoner of War, Pretoria". Relevant backstamps including transit mark of Lourenco Marques. Corner damage at top left restored with portion backflap.
