  • on glazed card dated 19 FEB 10 marked AFTER STRIKING.
  • VF, a particularly rare state of the die.
  • Most likely the second plate of the ½d and part of the printing of 3600000 ½d's ordered under Requisition 96/09 of 21st Descember 1909.
  • An exceedingly rare proof, the sole such known to us, possibly unique.
  • Typically only a single such impression was taken for checking of the master die roller at each of the after hardening, before striking and after striking production stages.
