1902 PORTUGUESE COLONIAL RECEIVING AUTHORITY ARCHIVE SPECIMEN : 1902 Arms £1 blackish purple, Perf 14 (SG 90a). An VF unused example perforated SPECIMEN in the usual manner then strongly handstamped "ULTRAMAR" in violet (by the Portuguese authorities prior to distribution to their overseas colonies as specimens).
