Ingomar Walter, President: Whilst Filat AG serves its clients online our President has his roots in Switzerland's leading full-service traditional stamp shop: Philatelie Walter AG. For more than 40 years Ingomar has met his cosmopolitan clientele's various requirements from important pieces of classic Swiss and European Philately to providing a reliable New Issue service. With a formal education in banking and business interests as diverse as owning an hotel in Namibia, Ingomar is very much an International philatelist keenly attuned to market trends. Between 2006-2012 President of the International Federation of Stamp Dealers Associations (IFSDA) he is encountered frequently at public speaking engagements. He has membership in the Swiss Stamp Dealers Association (SBHV). In 2007 he was recognised by the Netherlands SDA as Honorary member and since 2012 Honorary President of IFSDA.
Richard Johnson RDPSA, Philatelist: English Colonies: 40 years experience as professional philatelist. Richard has special expertise in British Africa and Cape of Good Hope as well as Commonwealth Proofs & Specimens. An exhibitor of Cape of Good Hope (various collections) to Large Gold level and an active Nationally accredited Philatelic Judge, invited to sign the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists of Southern Africa in 2004. A past President of the South African Philatelic Dealers Association (SAPDA) and since 2007 a Board member of the International Federation of Stamp Dealers Associations, Zurich (IFSDA), President of IFSDA 2012-18, Honorary President of IFSDA 2018-present. Additionally he has membership in the Swiss Stamp Dealers Association (SBHV), American Philatelic Society (APS), Australasian Philatelic Traders' Association (APTA) and the Philatelic Traders Society, UK (PTS).
