1947 Royal Visit KGVI 1d - 3d COLOUR TRIALS: Full Set of all possible (three colours for each value) in matching left marginal positional blocks of four, Superb, apparently UM, a magnificent array for connoisseur. Rare. (cvZAR170000+). Anecdotally, single panes of unstated quality were discovered in the early 1980's and dispersed. The colours are: 1d in grey & red, grey & carmine-red and grey & lake; 2d in pale brown, mauve and lilac; 3d in light blue, greenish blue and bright blue. See additional image below.
