"BY AIR MAIL FROM LONDON TO CAPE TOWN / ALAN J COBHAM’S DEMONSTRATION FLIGHT." Cobham departed Cape Town on February 27th and landed Croydon on 13th March. This return flight was interesting as an impromptu race between Cobham and the mail ship Windsor Castle which Cobham "won" by 2 days. Only 20 letters carried, not all signed (scarer than the souvenir cards with Flight labels/vignettes). VF, rare.
