SA: 1911 First Aerial Post souvenir card carried FIRST RETURN flight Muizenberg to Kenilworth. Franked Transvaal KEVII ½d tied by Special MUIZENBERG "aerial post" cachet of DEC 27 with similarly dated KENILWORTH cachet struck at centre. The card addressed back to Muizenberg where it received the regular Muizenberg cds 28 DEC 11 with "D" time code for afternoon delivery (as distinct from the "A" time code seen on the morning cancellations applied to the First Flight cards in direction Kenilworth - Muizenberg). Superb card from this flight on which only 210 were carried and very few survive. Rare.
