Registered envelope franked 5d and superbly tied & dated by the special oval seal date stamp applied by the Post Office attached to the Royal Tour Train. Front shows the cachets. Over this period there was a Royal Visit by the Duke of Kent. On 9th March the first flight of Rhodesian & Nyasaland Airways took place from Salisbury to Blantyre. Mail was sent from the special post office on the Royal Train when it was in Durban to connect with this new service via Johannesburg on Imperial Airways to Salisbury.
