1901 KEVII COMPOSITE ESSAY DE LA RUE DESIGN PROPOSAL The magnificent near final accepted De La Rue proposal in 2d small Postage format. Beautifully executed by laying a photographic frame in green over a photographic central vignette and crown in bright purple. The whole mounted on card 32x35mm marked "AA" and dated "Feb 4th 02". The design now shows approved Springbuck at lower left. This proof was retained in the De La Rue archives. An exhibition showpiece for connoisseur.
