1895-96 QV 3r brown & green INVERTED "r" & DAUN'S CAPITAL "Z" (SG 20k var) as left hand stamp of horizontal pair also with THICK SANS-SERIF FIRST "a"; the right hand stamp with FIRST "Z" ANTIQUE and DROPPED "r" (SG 20Avar). Superb fresh M, lightest gum crease left stamp as per certificate, more a wrinkle. One of the great Zanzibar rarities with only 5 unused extant (1 in Royal Collection), unique amongst those as in multiple thus. An exhibition showpiece for connoisseur. Photo-cert: BPA.
