Sent via Pretoria (12 JUL) arriving Johannesburg (14 JUL) and thence redirected back to the addressee in Eerste Rivier, Cape Colony re-entering the mails at the FIELD POST OFFICE #17 (JY 22) then being at Johannesburg. Eventual Eerste Rivier Station arrival cds of JY 31. An unusual much-travelled letter, full of character.
