1906 picture postcard ("Maritzburg from the East") franked KEVII 1d tied by superb strike of POA 31 cancel. Alongside are Thornville Junction and Pietermaritzburg cds's of NO 30. HKL record the location of this POA 31 at Elandskraal 1899-1904 and at Gumtree 1907-10. This card interestingly suggests usage at Thornville Junction for at least part of the intervening years.
