The sender was "No1877 Private A Frier 6th Dragoons" the cover bearing required endorsements and Officer's countersignature for this military concessionary rate. A tad roughly opened; nonetheless a superior pleasing example of this early period campaign mail from the regiment deployed to quell unrest following the Zulu War and First Boer War. Rare.
