INDIA: 1901 Superb complete violet strike of the CENSOR POW / C.E.NIXON, B.A. / AHMEDNAGAR, INDIA. Fancy double border oval cachet well placed on cover bearing OFS VRI 1d (which appears to have been addded later to the letter!) to Fort Ahmednagar, Bombay, India. Front shows also in black the H.P.Y. unframed mark applied by censor H.P.Young at Bloemfontein and on reverse full clear transit & arrival marks. Couple imperfections otherwise F-VF.
