CAPE: 1901 Censored envelope to England franked 1d Hope Standing tied Worcester cds SP 23 endorsed at lower left "From Sgt Maj G H Kent, Prince of Wales Light Horse, Worcester, Cape Colony". Backstamped on arrival. This Regiment was raised in Cape Town in early 1901 and was active in campaigns particularly up into the Orange River Colony. At the time of writing they had fallen back into the Cape. Scarce mail related to the smaller regiments. VF.
